Natural Hoof Care Seminar with Stavros Voutsas

Over the past few years, we are glad to have noticed a trend towards returning to more natural methods in what concerns horses and their care. It is a promising development because in this way we allow their bodies to understand the differences in their environment and adapt in the most appropriate way. A typical example of this is the move towards barefoot horsemanship, ie the removal of the shoes from their hooves and their proper exoneration in order to allow for the hoof to grow in a natural way. By exposing the hoof to direct contact with different soil it hardens and has a greater sense of feeling as well as improved walking. In addition to the positive effects to the health of the equine, it has been found to have better performance in competitions as well as natural horsemanship, since the horses have a better sense of soil and there is no longer the weight of the shoes.

For all these reasons, we have invited Mr. Stavros Voutsas to come and talk to us about hooves and to discuss various issues regarding their anatomy and illnesses and to solve questions that you may have on the subject! It is an amazing opportunity to learn new things as well as new trends in the care of hooves to help our horses live a more natural life.

We look forward to seeing you at our theoretical seminar that will be held at our stables in Markopoulo on Saturday, June 24, 2017, from 10: 00-17: 00.

The cost of the seminar is € 20.
