The Hellenic Society for Equestrian Welfare is organizing a two-day seminar with the aim of informing and educating horse-lovers.

If you would like to enrich your knowledge of these magnificent animals then this seminar is for you. You will have the opportunity to exchange views and share experiences, to ask advice and, of course, get to know the organization and our horses.

The seminar will begin with an introduction by Nick Mouzakis who, following his passion for horses and personal involvement, will talk to us about the basic requirements for their welfare, their proper stabling, dietary requirements and daily issues owners may encounter, and how to resolve them.

The seminar will continue with a practical demonstration and explanation by Steve Vergis on the basic rules of natural horsemanship. Steve has spent decades dealing with a variety of horse breeds, ages and conditions, helping him to understand the animal he has before him, decipher behavioral problems and past abuse.

Using practical examples he will demonstrate how man and horse can build a relationship based on trust and mutual respect.

The funds from the seminar will be donated towards the upkeep of the Organizations’s horses.
